Niangua River Valley Bulldogs is located in the Ozark area of SW Missouri. Their home is situated on 50 beautiful park like acres on the banks of the Niangua River.
John LeBlond is a retired Veterinarian who owned a Veterinary practice in Lino Lakes, Mn for over 20 years. He enjoys target shooting and archery.
He is an experienced scuba diver and sailor. Along with his wife Denise, he lived aboard their 42 foot sail boat the Kin-Sea Cay and sailed the Caribbean for 8 years before coming back to the United States. They returned home to play a bigger part in the lives of their grandchildren and to pursue their love for the Bulldog.
Denise Stewart was the Tech/Buisness manager of their Veterinary clinic. She has trained and shown dogs since her early 20’s when she put her first AKC obedience title on her German imported Doberman. She went on to compete in obedience trials for many years and migrated into the conformation ring. After returning from the Caribbean she moved into the world of Schutzhund, a German working dog sport, with her German Shepherds and has competed at the national level. She has a deep love for training dogs both in Schutzhund and in preparation for the conformation ring.
Working together in their Veterinary practice as well as sailing full time together on their boat and spending many hours under the sea in scuba gear as partners has made raising and training Bulldogs a natural progression for John and Denise. Raising Bulldog puppies requires a great deal of time and energy and their ability to work so well together only enhances the quality of Bulldog Niangua River Valley Kennels produce.
